Information to Public according to the Joint Ministerial Decision 172058/2016 (ΦΕΚ 354/Β’/17-02-2016) SEVESO III information for lower-tier establishments
A notification to the competent authority is obliged under the provisions of Directive 2012/18/ΕΕ (Seveso III Directive) regarding all the establishments classified as lower tier. A non-technical summary with information related to establishment site, dangerous substances inventory etc. is submitted as part of the notification according to the provisions of article 6 of Joint Ministerial Decision 172058/2016 and the Annex V of Seveso III Directive.
General Obligations of the operator
Operators have the obligation to identify and evaluate the major-accident hazards in their establishment, to take all necessary measures to prevent major accidents and to limit their consequences for human health and the environment.
